The ground floor of the villa had a huge living cum dining space with a smallish kitchen. We converted the kitchen into an open kitchen in such a way that dining and breakfast space seemed to emerge from the kitchen. The kitchen remained an open kitchen but the wet areas were smartly hidden from view. The complete house followed a colour scheme of mainly white and grey. The entrance was demarcated from the living area by using a fixed glass in a white frame. A beautiful feature in wood was created at the entrance in such a way that the pooja space could be hidden behind it and yet remained in the centre of the house.
The double height space was closed using mild steel rafters which added to the appeal of the house.
